Wealth management
Commission-based financial advisers have sold their souls. Those who charge by the hour are incentivised to maximise time. The odds of an active fund manager beating the index consistently are the same as the spin of a roulette wheel.
So say Index Wealth Management. And who's to argue? The Nobel prize-winning investment strategies they use saw them voted National Advisers of the year in 2006. Writing for them meant getting to grips with some pretty demanding financial complexities, debunking one or two myths, and helping them secure a Plain English Campaign crystal mark for one of their documents.
